There was a Japanese home restaurant called Brown Eyes that cooks Italian foods in the Japanese style at Sukhumvit 33. I first visited there about 5 years ago. All dishes were nice and delicious, whereas they were not pricey. They also used organic vegetables which are good for health in most dishes.

A year passed, I tried to go there again but, unfortunately, it wasn’t there. At first I thought that the owner didn’t continue their restaurant for some reasons, and then i accidentally found their ads in a magazine informed that the restaurant has been moved to Sukhumvit 12 near Korean Town. Of course, i didn’t hesitate to go there.

You can go there by a car because it has a plenty of parking space. Otherwise you can take BTS to Asoke station and then take a 300-meter walk along the main road and another 300-meter walk from the main road into Sukhumvit 12. By the way, walking there could make you feel a little bit too far in the first time. However, it won’t happen again next time. I have proven it!

A nice warmed bread and herb butter served before a meal. Actually there were two in the basket but one has been stolen!

Half-eaten onion soup and bruschetta

Salmon tartar – mainly consists of diced raw salmon and tomato – will make you feel fresh.

Half-and-half pizza which I don’t remember what flavour it was. But, to me, Mentaiko (cod roe) pizza is more preferable than any flavours.
